The Silverton Historical Society Museum, old San Juan County Jail and new Mining Heritage Center
See how miners lived 100 years ago both at home and inside a real 1902 jail cell. Hundreds of historic items, photos, and displays including famous silver railroad passes. A new mining museum has just been opened. Located next to the Courthouse and clock tower in Silverton.The Silverton Heritage Pass may be purchased at The Old Hundred Gold Mine, The Mayflower Gold Mill and the Silverton Museum and Jail.
